1. What DistractionKiller Is
DistractionKiller is a focus and app-blocking product, currently available as a web application. Native iOS and Android apps are in development — on the site they are clearly marked as “Coming Soon”. When store listings become live we will update every relevant page.
2. Claims & Statistics
- The “57% fewer mindless opens” figure is derived from intervention-friction research (Max-Planck Institute and related studies on interruption-based self-regulation). It is not a measurement of your individual results.
- The “3h+ screen time saved daily” figure represents our best upper-bound estimate for engaged users; actual savings vary.
- We do not claim app-store ratings, download counts, or user numbers on this site. We will add those figures only once they reflect real, verifiable data.
3. AI Features
AI coaching, personalized insights and burnout detection are generated by large-language-model analysis of your anonymized usage patterns. Recommendations are suggestions, not medical or professional advice.
4. Refunds
Purchases are processed through LemonSqueezy. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis according to LemonSqueezy's merchant-of-record policy. Contact support@distractionkiller.com within 14 days of purchase if you are not satisfied.
5. Comparisons with Other Apps
Comparison pages (e.g. DistractionKiller vs Freedom, Opal, Forest) describe our honest opinion of each product's feature set at the time of writing. Feature sets and pricing at competitors may change — always verify on their official sites before deciding.
6. Errors & Corrections
If you find an error, inflated claim, or outdated information, email support@distractionkiller.com and we will correct it within 72 hours.
