Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
This policy describes the current public website and beta account surface. DistractionKiller does not currently offer a certified native app blocker or an active paid checkout.
1. Data we process
- Account data: If you create an account, we process the email address and authentication identifiers required to sign you in.
- Account activity: Focus sessions, block-list drafts, streaks, and leaderboard participation are processed only when you choose to use those account features. They do not prove that device-level blocking occurred.
- Website settings: Theme and language preferences may be stored in your browser.
2. Website analytics
The public website may use Plausible for limited, cookieless page-view analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or a live ad-placement system on this surface.
3. Service providers
- Google Sign-In: Used only when you choose Google authentication.
- Self-hosted infrastructure: Account and product data is processed on infrastructure operated for DistractionKiller.
- Plausible: Used for privacy-oriented website analytics when enabled.
No subscription checkout is currently active. A payment provider will be added to this policy before any paid plan opens.
4. Your choices and requests
You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete account data from the account-deletion page. It provides a verified-email request at all times and only reports direct deletion as complete after the service confirms it.
5. Retention
Account data is retained while needed to provide the beta account surface, meet security obligations, and resolve requests. Deletion requests are handled after identity verification; residual backup copies expire through normal backup retention.
6. Children
DistractionKiller is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account if you are below the minimum age required in your country.
